Its funny though, you get to learn the "body language" of people who want to move over but still refuse to signal. Oh, I know you want to come over, I see you hugging the line, going a little slower, looking over your shoulder, etc. Am I going to let you in? oh heavens no, not until you SIGNAL!

That's so true. I was on a two-lane street in my small town at noon. Three times, the car in front of me stopped and waited for a break in oncoming traffic so they could turn left. NO TURN SIGNAL. It happens a lot. Both men and women of all ages.

Oftentimes, those physical clues are better indicators than an actual turn signal. It's one of those things that they don't teach in driver's ed but that you learn through experience.

I'll take that to the next level.

IF YOU'RE ALREADY BRAKING, IT'S TOO LATE TO USE YOUR GOD DAMNED TURN SIGNAL!

I don't either, especially when I want to turn in front of them. Nope, not going to do it.

Oh I can totally predict with a high degree of accuracy based on those clues when someone wants to move over, but if they can't do me the decency of communicating it to me clearly and in the accepted manner, then im blind to their non-signal pleas.

that situation exactly. I always get angry and laugh at the same time when people move opposite of their signal lol .

PS: posted some youbait on LaLD :]

It's the swines that leave them on that get me more. Several times I've been in the adjacent lane and followed the car with it's indicator flashing to merge into the lane I'm in for some distance but then as I get close to passing the car moves over into me then we both the same 'ow, you effing *anker' looks with the other person also saying, 'hey my indicator was flashing'.

I had this happen yesterday.

I'm trying to take a left and guy in a van can down the hill the oncoming lane really slowly and the as soon as they were at the turn in point turned on the blinker. That was clearly not 100 ft before the turn. These people proceeded to drive slowly.

It's a dangerous situation. I pity the people who believe all turn signals.

They turned but I got stuck behind then until the highway when I could pass them.

I yell at these people (even though they can't hear me) "You've gotta want it!"
